Ruba Shweiki is a Librarian based in Jerusalem with experience in archiving and academic research support. She is currently working at the Kenyon Institute Library (CBRL) in Sheikh Jarrah and at the Albright Institute Library in Jerusalem. She holds a master’s degree in library and information science (MLIS) and a BA in History and Archaeology. She has experience in academic and research library settings including work with multilingual collections with a focus on developing and managing collections, and improving access to knowledge resources. Ruba’s interests include information accessibility, digital transformation in libraries, and the future of archives and information services. She is skilled in research support, metadata and data organization, and the development of user-centred library services
