About the speaker
Dr. Sahar al Khasawneh, Associate Professor at the faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology at Yarmouk University.
She earned her PhD in 2015 specialized in Applied Sciences in Archaeology.
Dr. Al Khasawneh is the Prime investigator in several National and International projects that aims to fund establishing new scientific facilities in Jordan and develop human capacity in the field of characterization and conservation of cultural heritage. These include a prestigious Newton- Khalidi award, and several International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) grants.
Dr. Al Khasawneh has more than 25 published articles in high-ranking journals and supervised graduate students in different fields of cultural heritage.
