CBRL is developing an integrated physical and digital repository to consolidate our collections in Jerusalem, Amman and London, in line with international preservation standards. This includes digital archiving projects in which both archive management and the digitisation workflows, ensuring preservation-quality master files, derivative access copies, and comprehensive metadata. The repository and digital database provide secure storage, long-term preservation, improved discoverability, and managed access for research, teaching, and public engagement, safeguarding the Levant’s historical and cultural record for future generations.
