Marcus Vass

Marcus Vass is a senior international lawyer with 35 years of experience working on Commercial, Digital, Technology and Data projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has been an equity partner since 2003 at two leading law firms and has worked on ground breaking projects from the City of London, Beijing and Hong Kong. He has been relationship counsel and trusted advisor for many well known international companies to plan and implement large projects, commercialisations and licensing of rights.

Vass is Chairperson of an AI spin out from the University of Oxford; is on the Market Advisory Board of a software company that specialises in real-world clinical data; and is Advisor to a consumer-sovereign start-up for the AI era.

He has a lifelong appreciation of history, anthropology and archaeology and the lessons we can learn to better comprehend the challenges and opportunities of today. He is studying for a postgraduate in historical studies at the University of Oxford with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and the Levant.
