Join us for our 10th lecture in the CBRL Graduate Network: Skills Development Seminar Series:
Turning Your Thesis into Journal Articles
Speaker: Dr Sarah Irving
Associate Professor of Modern Middle Eastern History at the University of Staffordshire and Editor-in-Chief of the Contemporary Levant Journal.
About the Lecture
Early-career scholars are often under pressure to publish quickly to build their CVs for postdoc and job applications. Whilst turning your thesis into a book is an important project for many, drawing on doctoral research as the basis for articles is often a good basis for journal articles, too. This event will explore some dos and don’ts of the process.
