Kate Seabrook

Kate Seabrook is a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of experience driving strategic people initiatives across multinational corporations, social housing, and the education sector. Currently serving as Strategic HR Business Partner at the University of Portsmouth, Kate collaborates with senior leadership—including Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Executive Deans—to shape and implement transformative People Plans that respond to the evolving challenges of the higher education landscape.

Her core expertise lies in Organisation Design and Change Management, with a strong emphasis on fostering positive workplace cultures and embedding continuous improvement. Kate has successfully led complex HR integrations following major mergers, aligning policies, systems, and processes to support cohesive organisational growth.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kate is deeply committed to community engagement. She has volunteered with Mencap for over 12 years and actively supports her local theatre, reflecting her passion for inclusion, creativity, and civic contribution.
